Important message for WDS users

From January 2025, the IEA will discontinue providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data will be available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

Based on the latest developments, its analysis covers coal demand, supply, trade, costs, prices and mining projects at the regional and country level by coal grade. Given the implications of coal for energy supply and carbon dioxide emissions, Coal 2024 is indispensable reading.
